HAPPY GROUNDHOG´S DAY!

Groundhog´s Day is held on February, 2nd, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania every year. It is believed than groundhogs are real weather forecasts. You might be wondering how a groundhog landed the job of predicting the weather. If you're unfamiliar with the tradition, it goes like this: If the groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, sees his shadow, we're stuck with six more weeks of winter. If he doesn't see his shadow, we luck out with an early spring

    Y queda también la película "Atrapado en el tiempo", de Bill Murray. El título original es precisamente "Groundhog day".

    Bill Murray, meteorólogo de una cadena de TV, viaja a Punxsutawney para cubrir desde allí su predicción meteorológica coincidiendo con el evento: la mascota Phil decidirá si la primavera que se avecina será próspera o no.

    Sin saber cómo, Murray se ve atrapado en el mismo día, todos los días, que es el día de la marmota, repitiéndose una y otra vez la misma sucesión de hechos.

    Es una de mis películas favoritas y la recomiendo.
